Does Mobile Massage have gift certificates?

Yes, we have gift certificates available in any denomination by phone or on the website.

What type of Massage is right for me?

This depends on many factors. We encourage our clients to ask questions. Our experienced team of professionals will guide you through choosing the right service for you.

I’m pregnant. Can I still get a massage?

Absolutely. Massage can be very beneficial for women during pregnancy. However, be sure to let the massage therapist know you are pregnant so they can assure your safety and comfort. This is especially true if you are in the first trimester, when it may not be obvious that you are pregnant.

How far in advance should we schedule with you?

This depends on the size and location of the event. For smaller events with one therapist minimal advance booking is required. However, for larger events we appreciate a minimum of two weeks’ advance notice.

What is chair massage?

A chair massage is a 15-20 minute massage that focuses on the high-tension areas of the neck, back, shoulders, arms and hands. The massage is performed on an ergonomically designed portable massage chair. You sit on the massage chair facing forward, with your head in a face rest. You don’t remove any clothing. Chair massage produces therapeutic results quickly by concentrating on the areas of greatest tension.

What if I want more or less pressure?

Just ask! Our massage therapists are trained to adapt to a wide variety of body types and sensitivities to pressure.

Are there contraindications for massage?

Yes. Medical contraindications include but are not limited to: uncontrolled hypertension, uncontrolled diabetes, fractures, herniated discs, malignancy, numbness or tingling in any part of the body, especially the hands and feet. Please inform your massage therapist of any acute or ongoing health conditions before the chair massage.

What hygiene precautions are taken at Mobile Massage?

All vinyl surfaces of the chair, table and the hands of the therapist are sanitized with hospital-grade wipes before each massage and a fresh face cradle cover installed.
